Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payments.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, JCB and Electron.

Payment is not taken in full at the time of ordering.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Colchester Electrical is committed to the recycling of ALL waste electrical equipment & is fulfilling its obligation as a member of the WEEE Distributor Take back Scheme & is providing consumer information through:

We are registered with Valpak weee retail services Reg.no. 300695

Please take your waste electronic & electrical items to your nearest civic amienities site for recycling.
You also have the option to return equivalent purchased weee to us for recycling, however the cost of returning the items is your responability.
Shipping And Handling SHIPPING IS FREE FOR ORDERS OVER THE VALUE OF £100 + VAT

All shipping and handling is subject to the availability of stock at the time of ordering. For stock items we have two options available for customers to select on the checkout page.

2-3 Day courier service @ £7.50 + VAT
Next working day courier service @ £15.00 + VAT

ORDERS ARE ONLY COLLECTED AT 9:00 AM EACH WORKING DAY ( Therefor the Next working day option has a cut-off time of 8:00 am. Orders received after this time will be despatched the following day. ) Suject to stock availability.
Delivery Schedule EXAMPLE DELIVERY TIMETABLE.

1. Order placed @ 3:00 pm on Monday will be collected by our computer @ 9:00 am Tuesday & despatched on a 2-3 day courier for delivery Thursday/Friday. If the Next working day option has been specified the goods would be delivered Wednesday..........Provided all items are in stock.

2. Orders placed after 8:00 am on a Friday will be collected by our computer @ 9:00 am Saturday or 9:00 am Monday & will be despatched Monday on a 2-3 day courier for delivery Wednesday/Thursday, unless the Next working day option has been specified in which case the goods will be delivered Tuesday...........Provided all items are in stock.

3. Orders placed after 8:00 am on any day mayl not be collected & processed until 9:00 am the following day.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed & telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges All orders made within the UK will have 20% VAT added.

Returns Policy Dear customer,

We hope you are happy with your purchase, however if you are unhappy with part or all of your order please contact us immedietly so we can arrange return of the goods to our premises as soon as possible.
ALL RETURNS MUST BE PRE-AUTHORISED BY US & MAY BE SUBJECT TO A HANDLING & RETURN CARRIAGE CHARGE.

If you order items in error or you change your mind about your purchase after your order has been despatched, YOU will be liable for the cost to return the goods to us. All items returned must be in the original undamaged packaging and should be well packed in order not to sustain any damage in transit. Goods received back that are found to be damaged in transit or incomplete will not be refunded in full.
We recommend that you use recorded delivery or a parcel courier service and retain the proof of despatch/collection, as you will be held responsible for the returned items should they go missing.
